Sticky toffee pudding
This was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. If you're looking for deelicious food in a really friendly environment, look no further. The staff were super and the owner/wife/chef was even prepared to puree the food for my handicapped father! They take kindness to a new level.

Six of us went on a Sunday and some had the Sunday lunch menu and others chose from the a la carte menu. They even make provision for smaller appetites (I did NOT take this option!) and you can order smaller portions for a reduced rate.

My sister and I had: Poached Scottish Salmon fillet served with a creamy white wine and prawn sauce. This was made extra special by the addition of tarragon and was the best sauce I've had in years.
Salmon with white wine sauce
For dessert we had: Sticky Toffee Pudding with custard and again, it was one of the best I've had. I seldom eat dessert, but when I do it's generally Sticky Toffee Pudding so I feel I am qualified enough to say it's SUPER!

Wendy and Dad had the Creamy Crown Chicken Curry and Pilau Rice with Poppadums & Vegetables (one was kindly pureed – thank you!) which they really enjoyed. Peter had the Steak Pie which he also said was great and as he often has this, he's also a good one to trust on this!

Mom had the Tomato soup which she said was spectacular (please can we have the recipe!!) and she also enjoyed the Pork roast with all the trimmings (including a deelicious Yorkshire pudding).

Everyone was more than happy with their food and I can really recommend you giving them a try.
